During a luncheon held in the White House Rose Garden, President Donald Trump took a moment to offer high praise for rapper Nicki Minaj. Addressing the crowd, the President described the artist as a highly respected figure and a champion of common-sense values.
"We also have a woman that is so respected and so hot and so great and such a great friend of common sense," Trump remarked during the event. He continued his praise by highlighting her professional standing: "She’s a fantastic person and she’s a woman that’s respected by everybody and she’s got real talent: Nicki Minaj."
A Nod to Business Success
The President later referenced Minaj again while discussing the Small Business Administration. Trump drew a parallel between the rapper's success and the scale of small businesses in the United States, stating, "Nicki Minaj is so incredible. They call it small business, Nicki, but when you add it up, it’s bigger than any bank in the world, probably, right? It’s not small business, but she’s done fantastically and I appreciate it."
Minaj’s White House Visit
The rapper, who was captured in photos enjoying the event, appeared to be in good spirits throughout the afternoon. Following the luncheon, she shared several updates about her visit on social media. Utilizing the hashtag "WhiteHouseBarbie," Minaj posted content from the grounds, including a video featuring her Versace attire. Her visit also included a tour of the executive residence, where she posed for a photo in the Oval Office at the President's desk, captioning her post as being with her "favorite President of all time."

This appearance is the latest in a series of instances where Minaj has shown support for the President. The Grammy-nominated artist has become a familiar face at various political events, including the Trump Accounts Summit held earlier this year in Washington, D.C.
During a previous summit, the rapper expressed her unwavering support to the audience, stating:
"I am probably the president’s No. 1 fan, and that’s not going to change. The hate — or what people have to say — it does not affect me at all. It actually motivates me to support him more. And it’s going to motivate all of us to support him more."
She concluded her previous remarks by emphasizing her commitment to standing against criticism directed at the President, asserting that she believes he maintains significant support and protection.
