During the eighth show of his band’s Forever Tour at Madison Square Garden on Thursday, July 23, Jon Bon Jovi was forced to conclude the concert prematurely. Medical Explanation for the Abrupt Departure
A representative for the artist later clarified the situation, confirming that the early exit was due to a lingering sinus infection. In an official statement, the representative noted:
“The Bon Jovi concert at Madison Square Garden ended after 90 mins tonight. Jon Bon Jovi spoke from stage and told fans he has been battling a sinus infection, which led to the show’s early ending. As part of the Bon Jovi residency at Madison Square Garden, Jon has said numerous times that it has been a joy to return to live shows for the band.”
While the immediate future of the tour remains in flux, the musician is scheduled for another performance at the venue on Sunday, July 26, before moving on to Edinburgh in August.
