Divorce Proceedings and Separation

Actress Janel Parrish and her former spouse, Chris Long, have officially concluded their marriage proceedings. According to court records from the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, the couple finalized their divorce following a separation on April 4 and a formal filing on April 28. The legal documents cite «unhappy differences» as the primary reason for their inability to continue living together as a married couple.


Asset Allocation and Financial Settlements

The settlement agreement outlines a clear division of property and finances for the former couple, who tied the knot in 2018. Key points of the agreement include:

  • Spousal Support: Both parties have mutually agreed to waive any claims to spousal support.
  • Personal Property: Both individuals retain ownership of all household items, jewelry, clothing, and artwork currently in their respective possession.
  • Individual Assets: Parrish has been awarded her 2019 Audi SQ7, along with her individual bank accounts and retirement funds (pension and 401K). She also retains full interest in the project Sydney vs. Sean. Conversely, Long retains his own bank accounts, retirement holdings, and total equity interest in Apex Water and Process Inc.

Real Estate and Joint Assets

The couple reached an agreement regarding their shared interests in their Los Angeles residence and a joint Chase bank account. These assets are to be divided equally following the sale of their home. The property, featuring four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a pool, and a two-car garage, has been placed on the market with an asking price of approximately $3.299 million.


Reflecting on a Decade Together

Following the news of the split, the Pretty Little Liars alum addressed the situation publicly in April. Reflecting on their 10-year relationship, which included seven years of marriage, Parrish shared a message of gratitude:

«After 10 beautiful years together, including seven years of marriage, Chris and I made the difficult decision to end our marriage. There is still so much love and respect between us, and I’m deeply grateful for everything we built together.»

Parrish has since begun a new chapter in her personal life, having been linked romantically to Dancing With the Stars professional Sasha Farber.
