Professional Concerns and Personal Struggles

In a recent exclusive interview, Below Deck Mediterranean star Joe Bradley expressed strong reservations regarding the return of his castmate Nathan Gallagher to the hit Bravo series. While Bradley acknowledged Gallagher’s dedication to providing for his family, he believes the timing was fundamentally wrong for his colleague.

«I love the fact that he’s a working man and he fights for his family and he’s put himself in that position financially to fight for his family. I can’t take that from him,» Bradley stated. «I admire that as much as I don’t like him.»

Despite this admiration, Bradley argues that the pressures of balancing yachting duties with the responsibilities of a newborn baby created an untenable situation. «He should not be there. It’s detrimental,» Bradley remarked, adding that while six weeks might seem short, the mental and emotional toll of being away from a growing family is significant.

The Breakdown of Communication

The tension between the two remains high, with Bradley confirming that the pair have had no meaningful communication since their previous time on board. Bradley revealed that Gallagher attempted to reach out during his time in Australia, but he intentionally chose not to respond, noting, «so he can taste his own medicine.»

Reflecting on Behavioral Patterns

Bradley feels vindicated that viewers are finally seeing the version of Nathan that he experienced firsthand. He highlighted instances where Gallagher’s demeanor would shift suddenly, describing it as «alarming.»

«The fact that he can just switch is so alarming to me because I’ve seen it before,» Bradley said. «It didn’t look good for him. We’re all professionals at the end of the day… This is Nathan. This is who he is. He switches.»

Focusing on Personal Growth

Looking toward his own trajectory on the show, Joe Bradley emphasized a shift in his priorities. Having learned from past romantic entanglements and professional lapses, he is aiming to demonstrate maturity in the current season.

«You will see a level of growth [this season] because I felt it. You will see that I’m comfortable in my own skin on board,» Bradley explained. He also addressed his past behavior regarding his former castmate, Victoria, admitting that he would like the opportunity to apologize for the way he handled their situation, noting that he could have acted in a more mature manner.

As the season progresses, Bradley is determined to prove that he is focused entirely on his professional performance, leaving his history of «love triangles» behind him to focus on getting the job done.
