A Vocal Supporter of the Eagles

Hannah Einbinder, known for her role in Hacks and her passionate support of the Philadelphia Eagles, has made it clear that she has no patience for those criticizing quarterback Jalen Hurts. The 31-year-old actress took to social media to defend the athlete following the announcement that his season is likely over due to a serious health condition.

The Social Media Defense

Following reports that the 28-year-old quarterback was diagnosed with blood clots in his lungs, Einbinder shared a blunt message on her Instagram Story on Monday, October 19.

«Shut your ass up if you have something bad to say about him and if you have a problem with Jalen you have a problem with ME,»
she wrote, emphasizing her loyalty to the team leader.

Einbinder shared a report from NFL insider Tom Pelissero, which noted that the health complications arose after the quarterback had been playing through a superficial blood clot in his calf earlier in the month, including an appearance in the Eagles' game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London.

Why Einbinder Champions Hurts

In subsequent posts, the actress—who is known for being outspoken on various issues—outlined the personal reasons behind her strong admiration for the quarterback. Highlighting his character beyond his athletic performance, she shared:

«Jalen, we love you so much not only because you’re so talented but because of who you are. Jalen donated air conditioning units to all the public schools in Philly. He has an all-female management team and when the Eagles won, he refused to go to the White House.»
She added,
«I love him so much; he speaks in riddles and ancient proverbs. GOD protect this man.»

Update on Hurts’ Health and Team Status

The Philadelphia Eagles officially announced on Monday that Hurts had been diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis and bilateral pulmonary emboli, indicating that blood clots had migrated from his legs to his lungs.

Regarding his outlook, the organization stated:

«Jalen’s prognosis is very good, and we expect a full recovery. We anticipate that he will have the opportunity to resume contact football activities when he is off blood thinners. In the meantime, he will remain active around the team and continue to condition. More importantly, we anticipate that he will have no long-term effects.»

According to reports, the Eagles will not face any disciplinary action regarding their management of the injury. A source noted to The Athletic that the situation was handled appropriately. As the team moves forward, backup quarterback Tanner McKee is set to lead the offense when Philadelphia hosts the Dallas Cowboys on Monday, October 26.
