He is currently detained at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles and has entered a plea of not guilty to all charges against him.

In a recent interview, Jake Reiner expressed the complexity of his grief, noting, «It’s been eight months. It feels like eight years at the same time, and it also feels like eight minutes. Every moment that I wake up, I’m reminded of my reality.»
