In a recent interview, actor Shia LaBeouf has spoken openly about the personal struggles that led to his arrest in New Orleans. He addressed the alleged physical altercation during Mardi Gras and shared his thoughts on being ordered to rehab by the court.

Speaking with Channel 5's Andrew Callaghan, LaBeouf acknowledged his behavior was wrong but expressed skepticism about rehabilitation being the solution for him. "My behavior [was] bulls—. I gotta deal with that," he stated. "Does that mean I gotta go to rehab again? I'm just not into it. I don't think my answers are there."

The actor revealed he believes his issues stem from anger and ego rather than substance abuse. "I don't think I have a drinking problem," LaBeouf said. "I think I have a different problem... I think I have a small man complex. I think it's something that has to do with anger and ego more than my drinking." He also disclosed he has not been sober for nearly nine months.

LaBeouf was arrested on February 17 on two misdemeanor battery counts following an incident at a New Orleans bar. A judge later ordered him to undergo drug testing, participate in substance abuse treatment, and post a $100,000 bond. After a second arrest on February 28, he posted a $5,000 bond and was released.
