Rick Harrison of "Pawn Stars" is refuting claims that his son, Corey Harrison, requires financial help for medical bills after a serious motorcycle accident. Corey, 42, was injured in Tulum, Mexico in late January, suffering multiple rib fractures, a concussion, and internal bleeding.
A GoFundMe page was created by Corey's friend, Aron Chambers, earlier this week to cover the substantial medical costs. However, Rick Harrison stated on Friday that he had already paid all of his son's medical bills "long before" the fundraiser was launched.
Corey's accident led to a lengthy hospitalization, multiple surgeries, and medical bills reportedly exceeding $100,000. Chambers explained on the fundraiser page that Corey's condition was severe and that he is not yet strong enough to return to the United States for further care.
Rick Harrison emphasized that Corey, as a grown man, is responsible for his own finances. Neither Corey nor Chambers have publicly commented on Rick's statements. The accident occurred just before Rick's wedding in Cancun, which Corey was unable to attend.
