A Strained Final Night
The season finale of Below Deck Mediterranean, which aired on Monday, October 5, concluded on a sour note as a night out for the crew devolved into a volatile argument between Joe Bradley and Nathan Gallagher. The conflict began when a heavily intoxicated Bradley made a joke about Gallagher being a father, flippantly remarking, “It would be so much easier if you weren’t.”
Gallagher took immediate offense to the comment. During a heated exchange witnessed by several other crew members, he sternly warned Bradley:
«Do not disrespect my family. Do not disrespect my girlfriend. And that is all I have to say to you. I will leave it on that note.»
As Bradley attempted to suggest that their fellow crew member, Gael Cameron, would not appreciate her then-boyfriend engaging in a physical altercation, Gallagher became increasingly aggressive. He reportedly threatened Bradley, telling him to keep his mouth shut, and at one point, gestured as if he were going to throw an empty water bottle at him, emphasizing, “Keep her name out of your mouth.”
Aftermath and Legal Developments
Following the intervention of Aesha Scott, who confronted Bradley regarding his disrespectful remarks about Cameron, the crew members parted ways the following day, seemingly anticipating no future contact. However, significant legal issues emerged months after the filming of season 11 concluded.
In December 2025, Gallagher was arrested in Australia following an alleged incident involving a 29-year-old woman. Police reports later confirmed that he faced multiple charges, including assault occasioning actual bodily harm and intentionally choking a person without consent. Gallagher was eventually convicted on three counts of domestic violence after failing to appear in court.
Public Response and Defense
In an August statement to Rolling Stone, Gallagher addressed the accusations, noting:
«I’m not claiming I was perfect. I wasn’t. I made mistakes, and I will take responsibility for my own actions. I will not accept being portrayed solely through one account of a relationship when there is another side and evidence relating to it.»
The situation drew support for Gael Cameron from co-star Aesha Scott, who took to social media to urge viewers to show her compassion. Scott emphasized that Cameron had navigated a traumatic period, stating that she would remain by her side and asked the public to practice kindness toward her.
