The cast of the hit ABC series '9-1-1' has expressed their hopes for their characters as the show moves into season 10.
Oliver Stark, who plays Evan 'Buck' Buckley, shared his thoughts at the Disney Upfronts 2026 red carpet. He noted that based on the season 9 finale, Buck now has significant new responsibilities after becoming the guardian of 4-year-old Theo. Stark believes it will be a challenge to see how Buck balances this with his work.
Ryan Guzman, who portrays Eddie Diaz, admitted he has no idea where his character is headed but has a wish list. He would like to see Eddie revisit his army days or find a love interest.
However, Stark reminded fans that the actors do not write the show and simply play the scenes as they come. He highlighted how meaningful the audience's reaction to the 'Buddie' relationship has been, emphasizing that they play it authentically.
Aisha Hinds, who plays Henrietta 'Hen' Wilson, laughed when discussing her character's future. After Hen battled dermatomyositis and even went to space, Hinds is unsure where the story will go next. She also expressed excitement about being an 'auntie' to Theo and watching Buck interact with the child.
All nine seasons of '9-1-1' are currently available to stream on Hulu.
