Setting the Record Straight

Channing Tatum has publicly responded to social media chatter suggesting he was secretly running an Instagram 'burner' account intended to mock his former fiancée, Zoë Kravitz, and her current partner, Harry Styles. The actor found the entire situation more amusing than offensive.


In an Instagram Story posted on Monday, September 21, the 46-year-old actor addressed the allegations directly:

«Yo I truly can’t believe y’all think this is what I’m doing with my free time. F*in hilarious.»

Tatum further debunked the theory, questioning the logic of someone trying to hide an identity while simultaneously following the account themselves. He clarified his digital footprint, stating, «But if I really need to say it, I only have one IG account @channingtatum.»


The Origin of the Rumors

The controversy gained traction over the weekend when fans noticed that Tatum was the sole follower of an account titled "Nonya Bidness." Suspicion grew after the account left disparaging comments regarding the relationship between Kravitz, 37, and Styles, 32.


However, pop culture commentator Stephanie Tleiji, who operates the account @stephwithdadeets, provided evidence suggesting the actor was not behind the profile. Tleiji noted that the account appeared to be a dedicated fan page that had recently rebranded. Key evidence included a post where the owner mentioned a June birthday, whereas Tatum was born in April. Additionally, the account holder had previously replied to inquiries about their identity by explicitly stating, «I’m not him.»


Shortly before Tatum released his public statement, the "Nonya Bidness" account was deactivated.


A Brief History of the Former Couple

Tatum and Kravitz began their romantic journey in 2021 and announced their engagement in 2023. The couple eventually parted ways one year later. Since the split, Tatum has been linked to model Inka Williams, following sightings of the two at a pre-Oscars event in March 2025. Tatum was also previously married to Jenna Dewan, with whom he shares a 13-year-old daughter, Everly.
