Reflecting on the Eras Tour Experience

Singer-songwriter Maisie Peters, who served as a supporting act for Taylor Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour, recently opened up about her relationship with the global superstar. Despite their professional collaboration at London's Wembley Stadium in August 2024, Peters confirmed that she has not received a wedding invitation from Swift regarding her much-discussed future nuptials to Travis Kelce.

During a guest appearance on the Zach Sang Show, Peters addressed the topic with a lighthearted attitude. «I’ve not received a sourdough loaf or a wedding invite,» the 25-year-old artist joked, referencing Swift’s well-known hobby of baking bread. «I think that’s OK.»

A Memorable Backstage Bond

The connection between the two artists was evident during the London show, where Swift publicly praised Peters’ performance. Swift told the audience, «You started off the evening with someone I’m such a fan of and I’m still gonna keep talking about her.»

Following her set, Peters had the opportunity to spend time with Swift backstage. She shared a personal anecdote about gifting the singer books and a tote bag she purchased at the Brick Lane market. Peters also recounted a humorous moment where she spent significant time explaining her deep admiration for Hilary Duff to the Eras headliner.

Joking About the Guest List

Peters humorously suggested that her intense enthusiasm for Hilary Duff might be the reason she is unlikely to appear on any wedding guest list. «After hearing my spiel on Hilary Duff, I don’t think it’s coming,» Peters quipped. «Obviously, I’m a huge fan and maybe one day I’ll get to try her sourdough. Life goal and it’s good to have dreams.»

As for the wedding itself, Swift has previously spoken about her excitement regarding future plans. During an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, she noted that she looks forward to the planning process, specifically avoiding the stress often associated with high-pressure event coordination.
