Comedian Margaret Cho recently disclosed that she was asked multiple times to be a contestant on the reality TV show 'The Apprentice'. She made the revelation during an appearance on 'The Julia Cunningham Show', stating that producers approached her season after season, emphasizing that Donald Trump was a major fan of her work.

Despite the persistent offers, Cho said she had a "bad feeling" about participating and never formally joined the cast. However, she did make a brief appearance during a challenge to help her friend, singer Cyndi Lauper, who was a contestant one year.

Cho further elaborated that Trump's former lawyer, Michael Cohen, later begged her to be part of Trump's 2016 presidential campaign. She refused, citing her lifelong Democratic affiliation and a lack of familiarity with Trump's background. The comedian also expressed finding it "bizarre" that the former president was fond of her comedy.
