New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel and NFL reporter Dianna Russini have issued statements after photos surfaced showing them holding hands and embracing at a luxury hotel in Sedona, Arizona. The images, published by Page Six, show the pair poolside at the Ambiente Sedona resort.
Vrabel, 50, called the interaction "completely innocent" and said any other suggestion was "laughable." Russini, 43, stated the photos were misleading and did not represent the larger group of six people present. She emphasized that reporters often interact with sources away from official venues.
The Athletic, Russini's employer, also defended her, with executive editor Steven Ginsberg calling the photos misleading and lacking context. Both Vrabel and Russini are married to other people and have children. Vrabel has been married to his wife Jen for over two decades, while Russini is married to Shake Shack executive Kevin Goldschmidt.
