The motorsports community is in mourning following the announcement that NASCAR driver Kyle Busch has passed away at the age of 41. The news comes shortly after his family revealed he had been hospitalized due to a serious medical emergency.

Prior to his passing, Busch had been scheduled to participate in the upcoming Coca-Cola 600 in Charlotte. His team, Richard Childress Racing, confirmed that Austin Hill would be stepping in as the replacement driver for the No. 8 Chevrolet.

The tragedy followed a poignant milestone for the family. Just days before his hospitalization, Busch took to social media to celebrate his son Brexton’s 11th birthday.
