Scott Hoying of Pentatonix shared with PEOPLE the one key thing he and husband Mark Hoying must do before welcoming their first child, a daughter via surrogate, this summer.
"Our biggest goal right now is to pick a name because we have been through, no joke, probably like a gajillion names," Mark, 34, said. Scott added they also need to practice swaddling and changing diapers, but emphasized they simply "can't wait" to meet her.
The couple, who wed in July 2023, announced the pregnancy in October. After attending a Hannah Montana special, they joked their daughter might "live a double life as a pop star and a normal ordinary girl."
Scott publicly shared the news during 'Dancing with the Stars,' dedicating a dance to Mark. "I'm so excited to raise a family with him," Scott said. "I just feel like we're really, really lucky."
